PALO SANTO is a tree, whose wood is of spiritual significance for the indigenous people of South America. Wood is considered sacred, and its Spanish meaning is "sacred wood". PALO SANTO is a sacred tree that grows in select parts of South America.

- PALO SANTO: For thousands of years, Palo Santo wood has been used for medicinal purposes. Since all the way back to the Inca Empire, it has been very popular among indigenous populations for its sacred healing properties and for its unique fragrance. Shamans would use the wood in ceremonies and rituals, believing that the resulting smoke would cleanse the atmosphere and surrounding protection, honoring the meaning of its name: "Holy Wood"
- How to use it: Take a stick and light it with a candle, match or lighter. Let the Palo Santo stick burn for 30 seconds to a minute, then blow gently. Never leave the palo santo burned unsupervised
- Properties: The ancient Incas believed that by letting go of the unwanted, its burned resin allows the recipient to feel spiritually rooted. Much of the popularity of palo santo comes from its rich aroma with notes of pine, mint and lemon. Some consider the smell to resemble baked apples or burnt sugar.
